Heavy polished case with one chronograph button in the crown and the second chronograph button and the repeat slide in the band.No cracks in dial, recently fully cleaned and adjusted. Presented in 1898 by David McKelvy of Tidewater Oil to his son Robert on graduating from Princeton. Body: 48 mm - Face: 38 mm. Beautiful: jeweled to the hammers, wolf's tooth winding, beveled edged, micrometer adjustment. (Fob is no longer included). When activated this watch chimes the hours, quarters and minutes with 2 hammers on 2 gongs. This watch is also able to time two events. When the crown button is depressed the chronograph starts. If the band button is depressed during this operation the chronograph hand splits and one of the hands stops.
